I've decided to start a new deviantart account for digital art. Hopefully my uploads will be of a higher quality than what I've previously showcased. I may still occasionally post traditional art on here, but I want to improve and practice my digital art skills.

The Year 2014

I realize my journal is mostly full of pointless anime memes that I'm fairly sure nobody actually reads.
This time I'm going to actually write an entry that may give one a clue as to who I really am, and I figured a good way to start is to review my past year- since divulging personal information is what journals are all about.
Starting in January of 2014- The first major event in my family was the adoption of a beautiful pug who we named Jamie, after my deceased brother who had always wanted a pug. Isn't she adorable?
She's always happy and loves people to no end. She may not be the brightest bulb, but my brother would have loved her as much as I do. She turned 1 about a month ago, on Dec 2nd.
In May my friends and I threw an "Anti-Prom" The same day as prom. Not that we have anything against actual prom, we just knew we would have a more enjoyable (and affordable) time in each others company.
These are the cookies I made, and they were delicious. Nobody besides me ate them though. Apparently they can't ingest copious amounts of sugar like I can. Oh well, more for me.
In June, we went to Florida for a week! It was our first real vacation in ten years. My dad, sister and I visited Epcot, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and Bush Gardens Tampa and had an awesome time. I would post pictures but I like to keep some degree of anonymity, so here's a view from below of the giant golf ball at Epcot.
We had a couple of other fun getaways during the summer too, like a mini-vacation at fire island and a casual trip to a local zoo.
Fall was mostly my college-search time. I visited a few places like U Albany and SUNY New Paltz, but my favorite so far was my RIT visit. If all goes well I can go there, major in Film & Animation and become the next Walt Disney. But alas, the future is uncertain (or should I say the funds).
Those were the most notable things that happened last year. I do have more of a life than that, but they were mostly things that I do every year. Like scaring children on Halloween and receiving way too much candy for my metabolism to handle on Christmas.
This wasn't 2014, but a few days ago, January second, my little doge turned 8!
At first the relationship was shaky, but now He and the pug are completely in love! It's a bit concerning because neither of them are fixed, but it's beautiful nonetheless.
2014 was a pretty good year. I'm hoping 2015 will be even better. It is the year I graduate High School and go off to college after all! I'm both excited and intimidated.
And if you actually read through to the end of this, kudos to you, not many people do that. If you want, you can leave a comment and I'll send you a llama. This is the best llama collection website after all.

I'm Tsubaki or Death the kid, according to this quiz. I'm pretty sure I couldn't be Tsubaki because there is no way I could handle Black Star, and I also think the only reason I got Death the Kid is because I wanted to (mostly everyone who does these quizzes tends to gravitate towards their favorite character).
